celestial feast

This photo and haiku (haiga) came to mind yesterday.

I thought it would look rather pretty with the WP “snow” falling right now. ;)

Happy Weekend. :)

  1. Oh Geraldine, both a stunning photograph AND haiku!

One of my favorite things about winter is when I see the frosty ice on the bare tree branches. It’s like a work of art!

Have a beautiful weekend, my friend!

P.S. love the snowfall on your blog!

  2. Very pretty words and picture, both, Geraldine. I’m finally going to get a chance to try out one of your recipes this weekend, so I will be able to review your cookbook with real authority behind my words! :) Hope your holiday season is going well!

Thanks Marcia. December is actually a reflective and often sad time for me, now. A lot of memories I’m thinking about and too many people I miss. But I still think it’s a magical time of year.
