My Poetic Path

My journey…shared in poems, prose and photos.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

” A Rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.”

 W. Shakespeare: from Romeo and Juliet

PS: Yes, I know it’s Thursday; I’m a bit late for my new post idea for this week LOL. I’ll do better next time.

I love the concept of: Wordless Wednesdays; featured on several blogs. Less definitely can be More. I thought I’d expand on the theme a bit and add a quote or thought for the day to my version.

Hope you enjoy the beauty of this gorgeous rose photo and these timeless words from Will.

Remember to “stop and smell the roses” today. That’s a great idea, every day.

Hope you will stop by again for another:(Almost) Wordless Wednesday. 🙂

  1. She is stunning G! I need to spend the day in my garden, just me and my camera. 😉

  2. That rose is exquisite. Truly a work of art. I agree – it’s important to stop and smell the roses. We don’t do it often enough.

  3. Dang, that’s a gorgeous picture!

  4. Thanks for the beautiful pause in my busy morning!

  5. So true … it’s something I tend to do most of the time though there was a time when all I did was work, work, work. Who’s photo is that? It’s lovely.

  6. Hi Tammy, Sounds like a great idea!

Hi Selma, Roses are so special, aren’t they? So exquisitely perfect. This one really caught my eye, loved the creamy apricot color.

Hi Jason, Wish it was one of my own though!

Hi Aine, And thank you for stopping in on a busy morning.

Hi Diane, You are certainly focusing your life in the right way if you are stopping to smell the roses. The photo is from Flickr. Such a great source of inspiration and a nice way to showcase some of the talent found there.

Thanks for stopping in. Love to read your comments and your blogs too, G
