There is something truly special about black and white photography. It seems to have a depth and evocative quality Β that is not found in color photos; at least in my opinion.

Here’s a pic of our beloved Mr. Cheddar, looking oh so handsome, as usual. πŸ™‚

Meow-Meow has been reaching out with new forms of affection recently. She particularly loves to perch on my desk when I’m surfing the web, completely blocking my view of the monitor… πŸ˜›

  6. Wonderful picture – I’ve been experimenting with black and white lately and it does have a quality that isn’t found in color. Nicely done!

  7. Mr. Chedder is looking down at your last post wanting a bite. πŸ˜‰ B & W are some of my favorite ways to shoot my grandson. HUGS

  8. I think with the absence of color, you look at the photo with a different eye. You see the essence of the personality, the nature of possibilities. Yes, black and white is indeed a classy quality of photography.

  9. I agree. I think that black and white photos let one see the details more because the color isn’t there to distract the eye.

  13. Hi G,

I agree………there is something special about b&w photos. You get to exercize more imagination, and the smallest details do seem to come out more, almost as if color were somewhat distracting!

Of course, Mr C is handsome in any color! πŸ™‚
