PS: On another topic.  The Monthly Movie Musings prompts will no longer be posted each month. Not much interest it seems. I will leave the posts to date  in this category, available on the sidebar.

Thanks to all of you who did stop by to comment and to participate, most appreciated.

Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

  1. awe inspiring — such soft gentle hues.

  2. wonderful poem

sorry to hear about Monthly Movie Musings, I can understand your discontinuing it, I think it’s rather hard to engage people these days even through the web, some of us have really short attention span, anyway, I did enjoy the prompts and all the writings that came about from them

  3. I agree, this is lovely, and you caught it just right.

  4. Those soft, swirling clouds are very inviting. Sweet poem, Geraldine. Thank you.

  5. i recently gave up my memes for the same reason. but also because i had a different vision for my blog. i’m enjoying the freedom it allows.

your photo and words are perfect. i could certainly get lost in those colors at the water’s edge. have a great night.

  6. A beautiful sky and charming words.
Sorry I didn’t play the Movie musings, but I’m not AT ALL a movie person. I think the last movie I saw was Dr. Zhivago. :0

  7. Sorry about the prompts. It is hard to get the interest up. I found that with Search Engine Stories. I enjoyed those you offered, however.

That photo is extraordinary. The sky looks like coffee ripple ice-cream. I could stare at it for hours. To think such a sight appears for us almost daily for free. What a gift!

  8. Thank you for sharing this moment, Geraldine. Wonderful indeed…
    xoxoxo

  9. This sky is delicious. I really am drawn to scenes like this. And the words so fitting. Beautiful post, G.

  10. Hi Sue, I love the colors too!

Hi Lissa, Thanks Lissa. I really enjoyed your contributions to MMM.

Hi SandyL, I ran inside to get my camera that night. 😉 The skies can change so quickly.

Hi SandyC, I was awestruck. I just stood and stared.

Hi Michelle, I was sorry to discontinue MMM but it just didn’t “fly”. I am still enjoying OSI though, I really look forward to the prompts there.

Hi Sue, Dr. Z eh? Interesting. I love old movies but not usually the new releases. Too much (waaaaay too much) violence for me in most of them.Seems to appeal to so many people though, judging by the video stores. 😦 So tragic I think.

Hi Selma, I actually thought of this comparison too. Yummy colors indeed. Thanks for your contributions to MMM too. I really was sorry when SES was discontinued btw.

Hi Vesper, Im glad you enjoyed it V!

Hi Christine, Thank you so much Christine.

Thanks for your continued support. Wishing you all a wonderful Tuesday, G
