Haiku Reflections: Summer’s Heat

I found a number of file photos that I had forgotten about and just downloaded, with the transition to my new computer.

Thought I’d share a new haiku here, as I get myself accustomed to all the “bells and whistles”!

I’ve also posted another gorgeous floral photo, over at Veggies…. Hope you enjoy them both.

Wishing you all a wonderful and safe summer! 🙂

  1. That is pretty! I think our heat wave may be fizzling out, not that I will miss it. Glad to see you posting your poems, I always enjoy them.

My old computer died last month, too. I got the same kind (iMac) so am familiar with it, but even so, it has lots of new features.

    Catch you around,

  2. That colorful flower perfectly catches the “heat” of summer!

  3. I like the contrast in this photo, the bright flowers against the dark background. Love the haiku too.

  4. I am so glad you got a new computer and that you are back to posting.

I can’t get over the beauty of those pink flowers. It’s just stunning. Great haiku!

  5. Dear Sandy,Carrie, Joe and Selma,

Thank you for your kind words. The heat continues here…Hope things are cooler, where you are.

    I’m wilting! 😦

    Hugs, G

  6. nicest thing about all this hot weather is my tomatoes are beginning to pink up, and my mouth begins to water in anticipation!

  7. Nothing like summer–day or night! Beautiful, my friend.
