Haiku for a Rainy Day

This is an encore post from last summer.

As any of my regular readers know, I LOVE rain.  The cooling, refreshing, replenishing beauty of rain. I never tire of a good downpour, thunder boomer, gentle shower…

Once again this year, BC is heating up and in need of moisture. We had a much cooler night last night so hopefully some relief is on the way. I’m absolutely “drained” when it’s too hot. 😦

For now, I hope you will enjoy this rainy day haiku once again or perhaps for the first time.

Here’s the original post with comments.

  1. We might get some rain tonight, and it will be welcome. The only way to describe the field and yard is parched.

Do you get much thunder and lightning there? We don’t here in Maine.

  2. Thanks for this encore!
