My Poetic Path

My journey…shared in poems, prose and photos.

Mellow Yellow!

Thought I’d end my blog week on a sunny note.

I yellow flowers, shrubs, trees….they always make me smile. Seem to add light to the day.

I hope you enjoy some of my fav. yellow pics, in various hues.

Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

A single daffodil. One of my mom’s favorite flowers.

She came to mind…

I love what can be found in the undergrowth!

Glorious trees in yellow splendor. Anyone know the name of these?

Delicate, fragrant beauty. Creamy yellow and white.

Berries, bursting on the branches.

Golden yellow autumn. I look forward to your return.

                       Nature’s Happy Face. 🙂

 The yellow rose.

A ray of sunshine on a rainy day.

  4. I see Sandy has already filled you in on the forsythia, my favorite thing about spring in Kentucky. They are everywhere here, growing not exactly wild but at least wildly.

  5. Hi Lissa, I KNOW you love yellow, thought you’d enjoy this post. 🙂

Hi Sandy, Thanks for the heads-up re: tree name.

Hi Sandy C, They are, aren’t they? Yellow is such a happy shade.

Hi Sue, There are a lot of trees and flowers here in BC, that were never seen on the Prairies, where I grew up. These are breathtaking, in full bloom.

    Happy Weekend, G
