Word of the Week: Confidence

We all need it. We all want it.

But how best to keep our self-confidence on an even keel (and on a daily basis) without other influences and our own insecurities tearing it down?

What is your best remedy for those times/situations when low self-esteem threatens to takes over and rain all over your parade?

PS:And for someone with loads of self-confidence, check out this  post about my favorite feline.  If you need a LOL, do stop by. 😉

  1. Another good word. It is such a good idea to concentrate on a word like this.

  2. I’m still trying to find a remedy!

  3. Good word for this week. Your post made me think of my years of struggling with people who would trample me until I had no confidence left. My loved ones–family and in-laws. How I wrestled. But, as the rabbi said, I struggled with it and would not let it go until it blessed me. And it did. And now I walk alone. God bless, friend.

  4. Hi SandyL, I’m glad you are enjoying the WOTW!

Hi MamaZen, Welcome! It is an ongoing process, isn’t it?

Hi SandyC, I know of what you speak. We’ve got to keep trying though, don’t we. DON’T LET THEM WIN!

Hugs and Happy Weekend, G 🙂

  5. What always helps me is realising that everyone loses their self-confidence at some point. It is probably a very natural process. It can be hard to cling to it but even when it ebbs, it does flow back again!
