Well Geraldine.. first, a lovely haiku, this.. stillness makes one conjure up images of a lake.. and that’s what happened with me too.. a poem with a series of haikus was born.. well would love to get your feedback.. I agree ‘quiet’ is so hard to come.. but so beautiful to reach to.. God bless!
