Chicory: Basking In the Sun

Chicory is such an interesting plant.

Oh so pretty blue-mauve flowers and many uses as a food source too. You can read more about chicory here and also a product review I wrote about a wonderful chicory coffee substitute here.

Wishing You a Wonderful Day! 🙂

  1. Gorgeous pic Geraldine- who knew that chicory was so pretty! Hope all is well- hugs~~~

  2. These are such pretty flowers and beneficial as a food too. The coffee substitute written about in this review is great.

  3. I didn’t even realise that chicory had flowers. They are lovely!

  4. Hi Patti, I didn’t realize for a long time that these flowers WERE chicory. What an added bonus, beautiful and good in foods too. Who knew? 🙂

Hi Joe, I agree, CafLif rocks. As does chicory.

Hi Madeleine, Thanks Madeleine, hope you are doing well. Take care.

Hi Selma, I didn’t either. A blog friend identified this one and then when I wrote the CafLib review, I saw them in a photo again. How cool is that.

Happy Thursday and thanks for stopping by, G 🙂
