Haiku Reflections: A Picture of Bliss!

This is a haiga I created and first posted here,  a couple of years ago.

It’s still my kind of bliss! The various shades of blue and mauve, in this “flower carpet”.

I was dazzled by the sight in a local park. It also turned out quite nicely in this photo, I think. 🙂

  1. Geraldine,
This picture takes one’s breath away!!!! It is absolutely perfect – how fortunate that you were able to come across such a beautiful sight to photograph. The contrast of the shades of blue, against the deep green made for a very good shot!!!!

Aren’t those colours just gorgeous – I too love these colours – I like them in nature as they seem like a piece of the sky, and always a surprise to find, and I like them indoors – in my older home, I painted my bedroom a pastel cornflower blue, and it was so relaxing – a good room in which to relax, and fall to sleep.

Soon, flowers will be in full bloom, and this is a nice promise of what lies ahead!

I like your poem as well – nature can provide us with such happiness, and bliss indeed!
Wishing you a good day, and hopefully warm spring weather.
    Brenda

P.S. Did these flowers have a fragrance?

  2. Blue, my favorite color, is blissful to me too!

    Is This Bliss?

  3. So good to see you here, Geraldine. This is absolutely a form of bliss.

  4. Thank you for your prompt, Bliss. I enjoyed it. Your haiga is lovely, both picture and haiku. I tried a haiga, too. 🙂
