Haiku Reflections: Shades of Crimson

Study in crimson.

Lush, warm colors in my mind.

Breathing in lifeblood.

Crimson leaves in fall.

A view that always delights.

Favorite season.

The sky at sunset.

Crimson lights the horizon.

Nightfall: comes too fast.

  2. I love the photo, amazing. I enjoyed all 3 of these haiku poems. A good word for a prompt suggestion.

  3. Beautiful Haiku. Yes, nightfall comes too fast. How one wishes evening to last longer! Thanks for prompt this week.

  4. Lovely Haiku all these.. leaves are looking gorgeous..

  5. Beautiful takes on crimson in mind and nature.

  6. the night fall indeed comes too fast when such beautiful haiku are written about the crimson day sky… lovely..:)

  7. Lovely images indeed, both literary and photographic. Salute.

  8. I also enjoyed all three haiku, very nice take on prompt!

  9. I like both the photo and the haiku.
The words bring lovely imagery to mind, and the leaves in the photo are of such a vivid crimson.

  10. Sometimes when staring into a sunny azalea bush my eyes become so saturated. From now on I will think of breathing in lifeblood of color.

  11. Hi SandyL, What a lovely comment, thank you!

Hi Joe, I don’t think anything beats crimson leaves, especially in the rain when it comes to beauty in nature.

    Hi Harshad, Indeed it does..

    Hi Ramesh, Thanks so much!

    Hi Tony, Thanks friend.

Hi S Jayanth, Thank you so much and welcome to MPP.

Hi Ron, I’m glad you enjoyed it all Ron.

Hi CloudFactor, I was inspired by the photo and by the color crimson too. some colors seem to bring more imagery to mind, at least that’s the case with my writing.

Hi Brenda, I remember how vivid they were, the morning I took this pic. Sometimes a photo doesn’t do the reality justice, especially with my little cool-pix, but they certainly came out well. Thanks friend.

Hi Haiku Water, So nice to think I’ve been an inspiration!

    Happy Week everyone, G 🙂

  12. Happy Mother’s Day to you, Geraldine. Crimson goes good with fall. My favorite set is the middle section. Those pretty crimson leaves set the mood for fall.
Nice prompt word. 🙂 Thank you, it was fun but due to travel I ran out of time with my idea. I posted what I had anyway. I linked to your Mother’s Day tribute to your mother.
