My Poetic Path

My journey…shared in poems, prose and photos.

Inviting You to Join Us at Woven Dreams! :<)

woven dreams with text

My new creative prompt blog: Woven Dreams Prompts is heading into Week Four this Sunday, with the word prompt: WEAVE.

If you haven’t visited/participated at Woven Dreams  yet, I hope you’ll stop by soon.

You can read more about what Woven Dreams Prompts is all about here and why it’s a bit different (in a good way) 😉 than some of the other poetry/writing prompt blogs out there.

I’m still “testing the waters” whether I’ll continue with this new blog or not. I’d love to but if there’s not enough continued interest and bloggers participating on a regular basis, I probably will discontinue . 😦

Hopefully, Woven Dreams will grow and flourish as a great place for creative bloggers to share their work.

Here’s to our collective, creative muse! 🙂

I am a freelance writer, poet, artisan, avid book/product reviewer and award-winning cookbook author. I recently published the second volume of my new vegetarian cookbook series: The Groovy Green Kitchen (Volume 2): Simply, Super, Supper Soups and my inspirational, pro-active and fun book/eBook, all about aging well: Laughing AT the Grim Reaper! Gems of Wisdom for Aging Well. I am also the author of: The Groovy Green Kitchen (Volume 1): Weeknight Veggie Slow Cooker. Third Chapter, Second Chance (a mid-life romance). Not Just for Vegetarians: Delicious Homestyle Cooking, the Meatless Way and the poetry collections: Haiku Reflections: The Four Seasons (Volumes I, II and III) and My Poetic Path. These titles are available at all the Amazon sites. When I'm not writing or creating new recipes, I love to knit and crochet; usually with some "help" from feline friend, the yarn-loving Mr. Cheddar! 🐱 With Blogger, I also host my new author's site: Geraldine Helen Hartman and my product review blog: My Real Life Reviews. I hope you will visit often and enjoy all of my sites.😂 Thanks so much for stopping by. Wishing You a Happy Week and Namaste!

  1. It’s great that you’ve opened the prompts up to all types of creative expressions, not just poetry as so many of the other prompt blogs have. Here’s to Woven Dreams.

  2. I kind of love it, what’s next Sunday’s?

  3. What a gorgeous sky! I want a colorway just that pattern and hue. Hugs! 🙂

  4. I love having a prompt each week, Geraldine. It gives me a much needed push. And, as Joseph has said above, it’s great that there’s no limitation to one form of art.
I hope you do continue. 🙂

  5. Hi Joe, I thought that was a great idea when I decided to start Woven Dreams, re: many types of creative expressions. I hope that participants share a lot of different kinds of creative work, that’s the best part, seeing how everyone interprets a particular prompt!

Hi Lorraine, As I said above L, WEAVE is this Sunday’s upcoming prompt. I’m ready. 😉 Hope you enjoy this one too.

Hi Ruinwen, Yeah, sometimes Mother Nature dazzles as no paintbox ever could. I could look at skies like this for hours, but they never last long do they? Would make a great yarn colorway, I agree.

Hi Vesper, I’m so glad you’ve been participating at Woven Dreams! I love prompts too, they do give us a creative push, I agree.

Hope to see you at Woven Dreams soon, G

  6. I’m ready to for Weave, although I’m not sure if anyone will get it, I know I do, anyhoo I’ll post whenever the time comes, I hope there is more interest , you get to meet more poeple , unfortunatuley there’s always 2 that I can’t see,, It’s marked X

  7. i’ve linked your site in my google reader so i won’t miss out when i can participate… sorry about having to comment with my twitter account but some wordpress blogs won’t let me comment under my blog id, i don’t know why that is…

  8. Hi Lorraine, If you click on the link below the thumbnail, you’ll still go to their sites. I don’t know why some bloggers aren’t able to add photos, I have no problem with this at all. But the links below still work.

    I’m ready for weave too!

Remember, use the link to your actual prompt post, not to your home page, so that participants get to the right post. 🙂

Hi Naquility, It was so nice to reconnect with you yesterday! 🙂 I hope you will join us at Woven Dreams soon.

    Happy Weekend, G

  9. nice…weave is def a cool prompt….hmm….sunday….might have to finally join you then…smiles.
