I’ve been using Open Office instead of MS Word for quite a while now. Overall, it works just fine and the price is certainly right. 😉 It’s free.
But I do have an ongoing problem, trying to figure out how to add page numbers in a document only on specific pages, not on all the pages.
I did a search for answers online and the closest I came up with was steps how to not have page numbers (for example) for the first few pages and then have page numbers for the rest of the document. That doesn’t work either. I have divider/section pages in my documents that don’t need page numbers. I’m trying to add page numbers manually only to the pages I choose, throughout the entire document.
If anyone can help with this, I would be very grateful!🙂
Why this is not something simple to do, I don’t know. If I was setting up this program, I would have an option to manually add whatever you want in headers and footers, on specific pages as chosen. Doesn’t that make sense?
A lot of people frustrated with this same question online, from what I read. 😦
