What a gorgeous photograph, Geraldine! As well is your Hiaku!
It’s been spring-like here as well. You would never know it’s still January because all you need outside is a light jacket. I have a feeling though, we’re going to get more winter before it’s over.
Kim, The forecast for the East sounds like more snow on the way, I guess spring is going to be a while getting there this year. But it will get there, that’s for sure. π
Wendy, Wow, gardening already, really? That is amazing.
Ron, Thanks so much for your kind words. More snow on the way to you, I’m not surprised. But just think of those gorgeous photos to follow. π
Joe, And we’ve got a week of sunshine coming up to go with it, woohoo..that I’m really looking forward to.
Aditi, And may it shine on you too, in every way!
Lorraine, Thanks Lorraine. Seems like here in BC, right after the holidays it starts to warm up a lot. Not like the Feb. March…that I remember from the Prairies. Those were bitter cold months usually.
Beautiful haiku, photo and post, Geraldine! We’ve had spring weather since November and we’re in dire need of rain. Otherwise, we’re headed for a drought! So, it’s quite opposite here..:)
Oh and I;m back threw away the useless new all games and celebrities, who asked? and came back to my old faithful I’m loving that cover keep on touching it lol

Thank you, Geraldine, for the “mood-boost.” This is lovely…yeah BC!
I’m going outside now to work in my garden.
Blessings ~ Wendy

Love the haiku and what a great photo. Spring does come early in BC. And yes, it does lift your spirits, even to just think about it for now.

So far so good where I live, but I won’t shout about our finish weather ….. after all it’s still only January. Loved the Haiku, Geraldine.
