Spring Lilacs and an Inspiring Quote :-)

lilacs and quote

The lilacs are in full bloom here in BC; one of my all-time favorite flowers.

Don’t you just love that amazing scent? 🙂

I’ve added a quote to this photo that I hope you find inspiring too.

When we “step up to the plate” and make an important decision in life, we should be glad that we could and that we did.

It isn’t always the easy route to make changes, decisions… but it IS always something to celebrate.

Have a wonderful (and here in Canada, long) 😉 weekend!

  1. Blessings on your long weekend, Geraldine. ❀

  2. Very good quote. Sometimes it’s hard but you do have to make decisions and be glad you could make one. Love the photo too.

  3. The lilacs are my favorite too, Geraldine. We have a dwarf lilac bush and always produces wonderful blooms.

  4. So lucky to enjoy their scent!

  5. “Don’t you just love that amazing scent?”

Yes, Geraldine…I absolutely LOVE their scent! In fact, I can smell them just from looking at your beautiful photograph 🙂

Love the quote. And it’s so true.

“It isn’t always the easy route to make changes, decisions… but it IS always something to celebrate. ”

Amen! The only thing that’s permanent in life is change. And I have to say, I’m pretty good at embracing change.

Have a wonderful long weekend, my friend!

  6. And to you too Wendy, I’m actually hoping for a BIG rainfall, it’s soooo dusty here in the Interior. 😦

    Thanks Joe!

Joyce and Rose, I agree, such beautiful flowers and an amazing, unforgettable scent. 🙂

Yes, you certainly DO embrace change Ron, well done for that! It takes guts to make changes and stick with our decisions but isn’t it a great feeling when we do?

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for your comments, G

  7. Thank you for the lilacs! We used to have some at the house and they had such a lovely scent. 🙂

  8. I accept some decisions but not all. isn’t it normal to regret? but still, a good mantra to live by.
