An Inspiring Quote for the Weekend :-)

wellness thoughts

The mind-body connection is so powerful. 🙂

And sadly, that power is often forgotten when it is needed most.

I always try to dwell on good thoughts these days; focusing on what’s positive, throughout each day.

I also strive to let go of the petty annoyances that come up; in the big picture, they really mean little or nothing at all.

That kind of positive energy and thought pattern can also have a profound effect on how we are feeling and on our overall health. I know personally just how well this works.

I’ve “been there” when it comes to talking about and dwelling on every little ache and pain and my larger health concerns too, over the years. I know now without any doubt, that dwelling on health and wellness at all times DOES impact reality in significant ways, if we stick with it.

If you haven’t already, try it! You will be amazed by the power of your subconscious mind if you let it work its wonders.

The body/mind connection. It works for or against us, every day. The choice is ours.

Have a Happy and Healthy Weekend! 🙂

  1. I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING WITH SCIATICA FOR 5 WEEKS NOW AND BETWEEN THE PAIN, INABILITY TO DO MUCH, MEDICATIONS I HAVE BEEN DEPRESSED. I AM GOING TO TRY TO HAVE THIS QUOTE INSPIRE ME.

  2. This is so true. Our thoughts are powerful . Good or bad, it is our choice. Excellent post.

  3. Geraldine, as I think you already know, I am a big believer in the mind-body connection and find it very powerful! And has you said, it can work for or against us.

I’ve been through many challenging things in my life; things I may have not been able to change. However, by holding positive thoughts in my mind, I was able to move through the challenges by learning from them. I think it’s often in how we perceive things. We can see them as negatives or choose to grow from them and turn them around.

Also, I think focusing on what we have in our lives to be grateful for also helps to move through challenging times.

FABULOUS post, my friend! And well spoken!

P.S. love the photo and words!

  4. Wonderful post, wise and inspiration words for each and every day, G! Have a blessed Sunday! ♥

  5. I hope my book suggestion at your blog was helpful too Rose. Take care. Sending hugs too.

Very powerful Joe, and they work for OR against us, depending on where those thought patterns dwell, on a regular basis. I know you’re a believer too!

Oh, you nailed it Ron. I experienced this exact type of event yesterday. Something negative and unexpected came up BUT with a bit of
deep breathing (always good first!!) and them some contemplation, I was able to find something good that came out of it. And in the big picture, it was most helpful that this did happen.

Thanks for your very kind words, most appreciated.

Thanks Lauren. I hope you have a blessed week!

    Hugs to all, G

  6. What a wonderfully powerful post on the healing power of one’s own mind. 🙂
