A Tau-Ku Poem to Welcome Autumn :-)

wet crimson leaves

An autumn tau-ku poem from the archives that I hope you enjoy (for the first time or again). 😉

My favorite season is well on the way.

You can read more about the Tau-Ku poetry form here.

I really have to get back to writing more of these types of poems, I just ♥ Tau-Ku.

Have a wonderful, magical early autumn week! 🙂

  1. Lovely poem and eventually I am sure we will see fall here where I love in Oregon.

  2. I love the poem and the photo. You even picked the right color print to go with this photo. Tau-Ku is so interesting.

  3. yes, this exactly autumn or as I often keep saying fall but really prefer autumn.

hope you have a lovely september.

  4. Beautiful poem, G, and lovely photo. I also love your header, which was similar to my last book cover. I haven’t blogged in awhile, busy with homework, but wanted say hi. ♥

  5. Thanks for the kind words Rose. Yes, autumn WILL arrive but it seems to be getting later each year, doesn’t it?

Tau-Ku is so interesting Joe, I agree. The two syllable second line is always a challenge, but I like that a lot. 😉

I prefer autumn to fall too Lissa, more positive sounding I think. I hope you have a lovely Sept. too. Is it fall weather already in the NY area?

Thanks for the compliments Lauren and so nice to see you again. I hope school is going great. I’m so proud of you, what a big and exciting step you’ve taken, heading back to school. All the best and keep us posted at your blog.

    Hugs and Happy Week, G
