My Poetic Path

My journey…shared in poems, prose and photos.

Such Good Advice….

I needed to read this today.

I was in a bit of “funk” starting the week, trying to let go of what isn’t working out as planned.

But we all know…

Sending hugs and good wishes for the rest of the week.

  1. How I love this saying and often say to myself these words when something is going wrong.
I hope that eventually everything will work for you as you wished, Geraldine.

  2. I agree, this is good advice. Life is all about ups and downs. Things do get better even when we have a bad day.

  3. There are always ups and downs in ever part of life and the world. Patience and hope…

  4. Thanks for your kind words Kaya. Hugs to you.

Yes, it’s all about keeping it in perspective Joe, that’s true.

Yes Rose, but I am NOT a patient person!! I’m working on it though.

  5. I hope you found the flow again! I’m not patient, either, but like you patience is a work in progress (like the rest of life!)

  6. Hoping by now all has passed that wasn’t as you planned. I do know from experience, that sometimes the treasures we find are the unexpected ones.
I’m going to see if I can change my log in to my blogger acct instead of wordpress that I haven’t used in years.

  7. Thanks for your good wishes Joanna.

    So true Sandy, so true.

Things are on the upswing again, the clouds have passed. I even had an ok trip to the dentist today.😏

    Happy Week to all.

  8. Hi Geraldine
I kind of needed this as life has been very hard lately.
My sister died a year ago this coming up Dec 31st and my life is so sad without her,
    She had ALS .
I hope you will follow my blog as I have very few followers,
I find WordPress very different than Blogger and it’s more about ‘likes’ rather than comments.
But, I only begun my blog.
Not much interest in it though.
    Maybe that will change.

  9. I am so sorry about your sister Margie. I know how hard those losses are. Hugs to you.
