A Summer Haiku and So Long for Now…

talisman1

I’m taking a blog break for the next few weeks.

Plan to spend more time outside and to work on several projects in progress too.

You can read more about what me AND Mr. Cheddar are working on here. 😉

I wish all my readers a happy, healthy and memorable summer. May it be your best one ever! 🙂

I’ll be back to blogging before autumn, hope to see you then.

♥ Lots of Hugs and Happy Father’s Day too! ♥

Three Haiku Poems on the Cusp of Summer

Summer has certainly been “in the air” here in BC, in the past couple of weeks.

We reached 34C, one day last week and more warm weather is apparently on the way, very soon.

Right now we are having a bit of a cool spell, with rain and that’s welcome too. 🙂 Takes care of all the dust!

Hope you enjoy these three summer haiku/haiga from the archives, celebrating all things to come. It’s going to be a good summer, I just know it! 😉

Have a Wonderful Week!

I am working on the second volume of Haiku Reflections right now.

I like the cover color (spring green) but I can’t decide on which photo to use.

Your opinion would be most appreciated. Which one do you like best?

Please disregard text color and cropping.

This is from a screenshot I took off CreateSpace and cropped with MS Paint, so not exactly as it will look in the end.

Thanks so much! 🙂

Haiku Reflections: Snowball Days!

snowball haiku

We had a bit of snow overnight, here in Interior BC.

Brought to mind this haiku and all the fun of winter days as a child.

I still love snow and winter (except the driving) that hasn’t changed. 😉

Thanks to everyone who sent along good wishes last week as I recovered from a cold; all appreciated. 🙂 I’m feeling better today but still not very energetic. 😦

How is your weather? Any snow?

Happy Week to All! 🙂

Haiku Reflections: A Late Winter Scene

I always love the look of berries set against the white background/canvas of snow.

It feels like spring is already on the way.
