I ❤ black cats and I ❤ Halloween!
Wishing you a week of magic and fun.
This is a reblog of an autumn post (from 2015) that I hope you enjoy.
A song and a movie that still comes to mind, this time of year. So haunting and beautiful.
I hope you enjoy my haiku and photo too.😊
The unpacking continues here. We have now given away over 120 boxes of clothing, household items, books… to charity, so slowly but surely, making progress.

🍁🌾 Happy Week and Happy Autumn!🍂🍁
I ♥ movies from the 40s and 50s!
The Autumn Leaves is a song that I often have running through my mind, especially this time of year. As I mention in this post, it was also a Nat King Cole tune, that my beloved Grandma cherished.

I’ve been looking for some prompt blogs to participate at again, here at WP. One of my favorite blog pursuits, when I was blogging here previously, years ago.
Unfortunately, it’s been “slim pickings” so far, finding the right fit.
I don’t want to be burdened and bored by too many ” rules” such as: exact word counts, only one day to post, etc…
I thought if there was enough interest, I would start hosting weekend prompt challenges again, here at My Poetic Path.
My idea: a haiku OR photo prompt challenge OR combination of both (as in my photo with haiku above).
Please leave a comment if this sounds appealing, and something you would regularly consider participating in.
If there is enough comments showing an interest in participating, I’ll start offering prompts here, very soon.
It’s almost here.
I’m sad to bid summer “adieu” but autumn IS my favorite season, for so many reasons.
Also sharing at Blogging Meet-up.
The “trick” is in the timing.
Even the photo makes me feel calm!😉
