Haiku Reflections: Spring IS On the Way!

spring IS on the way haiku

We had a glorious, sunny day yesterday, here in Interior BC.

Joe and I took some time off from work/chores/to-do-lists and decided to take a LONG walk.

We ended up down at our lake shore, sitting in the sun, soaking up some rays and good energy. 🙂

It felt so good to have sun on my face again and to see a really clear, blue sky, 🙂 after too many weeks of dark cloudy days. 😦

Spring really IS on the way here.

How about where you are? Any signs of spring?

Have a wonderful week!

Ta-da…and the cover choice is:

Haiku Reflections ii front cover

It was a toss-up for me, between the daisies and the oak leaf for my new Haiku Reflections II cover but I went with the daisies in the end as I thought it was a better contrast with the pale green cover.

I AM going to use the oak leaf though, for an upcoming volume of Haiku Reflections, this one with a  different colored cover background, for more of a contrast.

Thanks so much to everyone who voted and left feedback for the various photos I was considering.

I loved reading all your comments. 🙂

It was hard to decide on just one photo, after reading all your great ideas and varied thoughts on the different photos.

The final, print document for Haiku Reflections II is just being processed over at CreateSpace right now.

I’ll also be publishing it at KDP as a Kindle eBook.

Both should be available by the end of this week, over at Amazon.

I also just posted my: 20 under $20 Holiday Gift Suggestion List for 2013, over at My Real Life Reviews.Hope you’ll check that out too. 🙂

I’m having a few problems with Blogger acting wonky recently. Readers telling me they can’t comment and some difficulty with posting over there too.

Anyone else having Blogger problems?

Happy Thanksgiving to my U.S. readers and Happy Week to All. 🙂

I am working on the second volume of Haiku Reflections right now.

I like the cover color (spring green) but I can’t decide on which photo to use.

Your opinion would be most appreciated. Which one do you like best?

Please disregard text color and cropping.

This is from a screenshot I took off CreateSpace and cropped with MS Paint, so not exactly as it will look in the end.

Thanks so much! 🙂

Haiku Reflections: Serendipity!

journal and book safe 001

 Find the perfect word.

When it all comes together.

♥ ♥ ♥

In spite of some very hot temps. here in BC during July; it’s been for the most part, a very productive four weeks!

It’s magic when that perfect: word, phrase or sentence comes to mind, isn’t it? 🙂

Hope you’ve had a wonderful July too.

“Serendipity means a “happy accident” or “pleasant surprise”; a fortunate mistake. Specifically, the accident of finding something good or useful while not specifically searching for it. The word has been voted one of the ten English words hardest to translate in June 2004 by a British translation company.[1] However, due to its sociological use, the word has been exported into many other languages.”
