Calling All Haiku Poets and Photographers!!

glossy green heads

I’ve been looking for some prompt blogs to participate at again, here at WP. One of my favorite blog pursuits, when I was blogging here previously, years ago.

Unfortunately, it’s been “slim pickings” so far, finding the right fit.

I don’t want to be burdened and bored by too many ” rules” such as: exact word counts, only one day to post, etc…

I thought if there was enough interest, I would start hosting weekend prompt challenges again, here at My Poetic Path.

My idea: a haiku OR photo prompt challenge OR combination of both (as in my photo with haiku above).

Please leave a comment if this sounds appealing, and something you would regularly consider participating in.

If there is enough comments showing an interest in participating, I’ll start offering prompts here, very soon.

A Feast of Flowers at Summer’s End….

Autumn will soon arrive, my fav season. 🙂

But the end of summer always seems a bit sad too. 😦

Hope you enjoy this “feast” of flowers, from my photo archives.

That’s what I DO miss when summer passes; all those glorious colors.

Have a wonderful week!!!

Delicate Beauty in the Rain

Welcome Spring and Happy Weekend! :-)

gg collage

It’s been a soggy start to spring this morning, 😦 here in Interior BC. I’m hoping the sun will break through, later today.

Hope you enjoy all the “glorious green” in this photo collage I made a while back! How I  green.

Happy Spring and Happy Weekend.

Hope the sun is shining where you are! 🙂

A Rainy Weekend Is On The Way

After several days of glorious sunshine and warm weather, here in Interior BC, it looks like rain for the rest of today and maybe all weekend.

That’s OK with me though, we need it, to keep the dust down and get things growing too!

I also have lots to do inside so the weather won’t be distracting me to go outdoors tooooo much. 😉

The photo above is one of my all-time fav rainy-day scenes. This is on the lake shore here. It always makes me feel calm and serene. I hope you enjoy it too! 🙂

Speaking of keeping the dust down, you might find my newest post at Veggies…interesting, all about the dangers of dust and steps to take when vacuuming, to safeguard your health. You can read it here.

Have a wonderful weekend, wherever you are. What’s your weather like?

Scenes of Early Autumn

What a lovely time of year this is. Not quite autumn but still, there is a change in the air.

I happened to find this post today from 2010 with some of my fav early autumn pics that I took that year.

I hope you enjoy this encore post or for the first time perhaps?

Have a wonderful weekend. It’s going to be a hot one, here in BC. 😉

My Poetic Path

I took these photos early this week.

Stroll/scroll along…..hope you enjoy the views as much as I did!

Mountain Ash at it’s peak.

The holly was just starting to turn.

Berries everywhere and in so many colors.

 Breathtaking pinks and soft green.

Brown-eyed Susan was still looking fine! 😉

Someone’s lucky: a  glorious front yard tree.

Regal purple. A beautiful sight to behold.

Happy Autumn! Isn’t it grand? 🙂

PS: On a completely different topic; Mr. Cheddar has a new workout regime.

Stop by Veggies…if you need a chuckle or diet inspiration.
