One of the things I love best about fall is the scent of wood fires, which takes me right back to the autumns of my youth, walking home from school……..beautiful poem and photo!!!!

Hi Ron, I agree, it was a stunning sky that evening, I RAN for my camera. Good thing ’cause it didn’t last long. 😉
Hi Rose, thank you!
Hi Val, Mother Nature does not disappoint when it comes to amazing colors. 😉
Hi Kim, thanks for the lovely comment Kim.
Hi Loredana, So glad you liked it.
Hi Ruth, Thanks Ruth. I love your avatar photo!
Hi Mary, Thanks so much Mary. 🙂
Hi Joe, Sunset scenes aren’t always that spectacular but that one, I just had to get a photo or three of. 😉
Hi Brian, Just add a little crunch, I like that. Great sound and feel to leaves crunching under our shoes/boots, love it!
Hi Gabriella, Thanks so much! 🙂
Hi Audrey, And thank you Audrey.
Hi Natasha, It does indeed! And yes, some Oct. sunsets are truly amazing. There is a depth to the colors that I don’t think is as apparent in the summer skies.
Hi Sherry, Me too! I can so relate to your thoughts. I love to think about all the fun we had as kids, this time of year. Especially anticipating Halloween, that was a hugee!! 😉
Hi Jen, I’m so glad you enjoyed this post Jen. Nice to see you at MPP again.
