Hello again and HAPPY SUMMER!
I’ve decided to resurrect my two WordPress blogs, this one and also, Veggies, Yarns & Tails.
You can read all the details HERE.
I’m going to try for weekly posts and of course, back to more regular visits at my many favorite WordPress blogs.
For now, wishing you a great week and hope you’ll stop by again soon for new posts here and at Veggies…
It’s nice to be back!😊

I just ♥ the word: halcyon.
I ♥ movies from the 40s and 50s!
The Autumn Leaves is a song that I often have running through my mind, especially this time of year. As I mention in this post, it was also a Nat King Cole tune, that my beloved Grandma cherished.
And the movie of the same name is also one that I have never forgotten.Quite a “racy” film for its time (1956) and definitely with some disturbing content.
But, if you are a fan of Joan Crawford and/or movies from the 40s/50s like I am, do check this one out.
It also features a young and oh, so handsome Cliff Robertson. Also starring, Lorne Greene in a role that is far removed from his later, fatherly image at the Ponderosa Ranch in the Bonanza TV Series. 😉 He’s a real naughty boy in this one!
Have a Wonderful Autumn Day and Hope You Are Enjoying Sunshine Where You Are! 🙂
It’s Still Lovely and Warm, Here In BC.
I’m taking a blog break for the next few weeks.
Plan to spend more time outside and to work on several projects in progress too.
You can read more about what me AND Mr. Cheddar are working on here. 😉
I wish all my readers a happy, healthy and memorable summer. May it be your best one ever! 🙂
I’ll be back to blogging before autumn, hope to see you then.
♥ Lots of Hugs and Happy Father’s Day too! ♥
Summer has certainly been “in the air” here in BC, in the past couple of weeks.
We reached 34C, one day last week and more warm weather is apparently on the way, very soon.
Right now we are having a bit of a cool spell, with rain and that’s welcome too. 🙂 Takes care of all the dust!
Hope you enjoy these three summer haiku/haiga from the archives, celebrating all things to come. It’s going to be a good summer, I just know it! 😉
Have a Wonderful Week!
