I’m happy to be back to blogging, as of today. I’ve been working on a number of offline projects, which I posted about over atHappy Break.
Suffice to say, July has been a very productive month. 🙂
The hot weather continues here in BC. This haiku and scene always makes me feel cooler.
This is one of the 120 haiku poems featured in my new book:Haiku Reflections: The Four Seasons. One of several projects I completed during this past month.
I hope you are having a wonderful summer and staying cool, however you can. 😉

Certainly an outstanding picture and haiku. It feels like a perfect summer day… Great job with your projects. A banner year for you for sure. Way to go, Geraldine!
A beautiful photo, and haiku, Geraldine!
I’m hoping our cooler temps may carry through abit of August. It’s been around 23 to 24 C this week, and such a nice change.
It sounds like a very productive July – congrats!

The best way to begin, is, to begin.
This is great advice, Geraldine, so simple and true, and I think I should put it on a peace of paper and have it in front of me at all times. 🙂
Congrats for all your great projects and for the way your novel’s coming along!
I love the haiku and the picture – that water is wonderful!
Hi SandyL, I’m TRYING to ignore the heat but it’s not easy. As I’ve said a million times before, I am not a hot weather fan, I find it so draining. And my kind of a bad day is getting nothing accomplished. 😦 But in spite of the high temps, July was very productive for me and I’m already working on a good August, in this respect. 🙂
Hi Brenda, Oh that sounds wonderful, send those cool breezes west ok! 😉 I’m glad you enjoyed this photo and haiku.
Hi Lorraine, Thank you my friend.
Hi Vesper, So nice to see you again. Yes, a good quote to keep in mind. I need to post it somewhere too but it’s one I usually remember, since I actually wrote it. LOL
How is your novel coming along. I’ll stop by soon to see if you have any news on that project.
Congrats on your productive July and on your book- how cool is that??? Cooler than the weather- that’s for sure. Chicago has been hot and steamy- I am looking forward to cooler weather at some point! Hope August is as good to you as July was!

Hi Rumpy, Thank you! It’s great to be back. Quite the story you shared re: June Buggie, Mr. Cheddar is still meowing about it. 😉
Hi Joe, It’s kind of amazing how a photo can make you feel cooler, but it really can. I’m looking forward to a productive August too!
Hi Sue, You are so kind Sue, thank you.
Happy Week. Looks like another hot one on the way here… G
