Christmas is such a perfect opportunity to remember happy times from long ago, people we are missing now, young dreams and adventures….poignant and bittersweet memories.
We never really forget our first, young loves/romances, do we? It was fun to incorporate some of my own special memories in the dream sequence from this story.
Sigh….and now back to the present…..It will be a quiet holiday for us, here in Alberta but we are both glad to have made the move from BC. Hopefully, lots of snow on the way to really bring the Christmas spirit to life! How I love snow (perhaps strange? but true) but not driving in it every day now really helps with that!
