Sunflowers never fail to make me smile. They bring brightness even when the sun is hiding…and just where is that sun hiding these days? 🙂
Loved this, Geraldine!

Sunflowers are such happy flowers. We could do with seeing more of them… maybe they could induce the sun to penetrate the clouds.

I love the photo and the haiku poem. I have done some other haiku for future posts, and even my husband got inspired and wrote one, which was beautiful. 🙂 We at least have the sun shining today after several days of snow and cold. Still waiting for our Spring, but taking its sweet time in our state.

I like this. Sunflowers are nature’s happy face, I agree. And such a happy haiku too.

I love sunflowers; maybe they can drive away these thunderstorms. Hugs! 🙂

Hi Talon, Another cloudy day here today. 😦 I agree about the sunflowers, they always make me smile too. One summer, I even grew a bunch in the garden we had, what a treat to see them peeking over the fence every day. 😉
Hi Val, Nothing seems to be working this year, when it comes to chasing the clouds away. But the sun always shines and it will shine through those clouds again and make them go away, just seems like forever LOL.
Hi Joyce, Thanks Joyce. And thanks for the great suggestion for Woven Dreams for Sunday. It cheered me up! 🙂
Hi Joe, They are indeed.
Hi Ruinwen, I like a good thunderstorm actually, nature’s light show! But I agree, some sun would be VERY nice, right about now.
Happy weekend and hope to see some of you at Woven Dreams for the SUNNY DAYS prompt, on Sunday!

The combination of photo and poem have me smiling. Bring on the warmth and Spring, but in the 20’s here this morning. My best, Rob.

Hi Teri, I’ll take it! Thank you. 🙂
Hi Laugh with Me, Aren’t we all. The sun is peeking out here this morning in BC, I hope it continues.
Hi Rob, This photo makes me smile, I often have it as my desktop background. Especially helpful on cloudy, grey days. 😉
Happy Week, G

It’s enough to take a look at your sunflower to feel happy even on a gloomy day! Wonderful! Thank you! 🙂

Hi Sue, We had a glorious sunny day here yesterday, I wore a short sleeved sweater outside! But today, the clouds have returned. Soon…yes, let it be soon!
Hi Vesper, Thanks so much. Your little doggie photo made me smile too. 😉
